Alexis Perraud

Alexis Perraud began his musical training at the Conservatory of Versailles. In 2012, he joined the class of Pierre-Olivier Queyras at the Conservatory of Rueil-Malmaison, where he earned his Diploma of Musical Studies in 2015 with highest honors, followed by a Diploma of Excellence with high distinction in 2016.
That same year, after taking part in several masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Marianne Piketty and Anne Mercier, he was admitted to the Bachelor program at the Haute École de Musique de Genève. He studied there under Stefan Muhmenthaler, with whom he also completed a Master’s degree in orchestral performance. He obtained a Pedagogy Master in June 2025 under the guidance of Pierre Fouchenneret.
Primarily involved in orchestral work, Alexis also has a strong interest in chamber music and teaching. As of September 2025, he has been appointed violin professor at the Conservatory of Fontainebleau.
He plays a violin made by Collin-Mezin, crafted in Paris in 1885.
