Marta Śniady is a composer for whom music serves as a medium of social communication and a bridge between sound and other art forms. In her work, she intertwines layers of corporeality, technology, feminism, and ritual, employing electronics as well as performative and visual spaces. Her artistic interests include the fragility of the body, the boundaries of technological intervention in the human organism, and the relationship between nature and the artificial artifact.

Śniady’s works have been presented at international festivals such as Warsaw Autumn, Sacrum Profanum, Musica Electronica Nova, Klang Festival, and Heroines of Sound, and performed by ensembles including Ensemble Garage, Spółdzielnia Muzyczna, London Sinfonietta, and Black Page Orchestra. Since 2017, she has been a member of the programming committee of the Warsaw Autumn Festival. She teaches at the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź. Living between Łódź and Wrocław, she continues to develop her distinctive artistic language, in which music, visuality, and technology merge into radical forms of storytelling and embodied listening.

Marta is commissioned by Warsaw Autumn and JVLMA for the ULYSSES Platform.
