THE 11th MATAN GIVOL INTERNATIONAL COMPOSERS COMPETITION

Meitar Ensemble announces the 11th Matan Givol International Composers Competition.

Composers from all over the world are invited to submit works for Meitar Ensemble. The competition is an open call for composers of all ages and nationalities.

Compositions for 5-14 instruments from the following - One each unless otherwise indicated): Flute (doubling piccolo, alto flute and bass flute), oboe (doubling english horn), clarinet (doubling bass clarinet), bassoon, trumpet, horn, trombone, 2 violins, viola, cello, contrabass, piano and percussion.

Prize - 3000 euros

The winning piece will be performed and live recorded in a concert on 26.12.26 at the Tel Aviv Jaffa Music Center, with conductor Pierre-André Valade and the Meitar ensemble
