COMPOSITION COURSE_LIVORNO MUSIC FESTIVAL

The master class will be led by Maestro Federico Gardella and will take place in the evocative setting of the Fortezza Vecchia of Livorno, from 24 to 30 August 2026. It is aimed at creating a concert in the program of the Livorno Music Festival.

The teaching program is divided into individual composition lessons and collective analysis courses. The final concert will be dedicated to the figure of Saint Francis of Assisi: each of the compositions presented must, in fact, be freely inspired by the Canticle of the Creatures. The available interpreters include Flute,  Clarinet, Cello and Piano. The compositions must have a maximum of three performers. The projects will be selected on the basis of the quality and originality of the musical idea. Admission to the course will take place after selection. The results of the selection will be communicated via email by June 05, 2026.
