Composition reading workshop. Real Filharmonía de Galicia / RESIS.LAB 2026

The Real Filharmonía de Galicia, in collaboration with the Resis Festival of Contemporary Music in A Coruña, will organize in May 2026 a reading workshop for new symphonic works, with the aim of encouraging composers who are beginning their training in the field of classical music.

The workshop activities will take place in person on May 5, 6, 7, and 8, 2026, at the Auditorio de Galicia (Santiago de Compostela, Spain). At the end of the week, there will be a final concert open to the public, as well as a non-commercial recording of the selected works.

Given the educational nature of these workshops, participating composers will be required to be physically present in Santiago de Compostela. The workshop will be led by composer Manuel López López and conductor Armando Merino.

The application period is open from November 22, 2025, to January 6, 2026. Interested individuals may register exclusively through the MUVAC platform.
