About Contemporary Insights e.V.:
Contemporary Insights began in 2014 as a concert series for contemporary music in New York City and was founded in 2019 as a non-profit association with associated ensemble and headquarters in Leipzig. The aim of the association is to bring together a new audience as well as composers and performers to explore the diverse world of contemporary classical music. The ensemble and the association work closely together to present a variety of projects with new perspectives in the field of 21st century performance. But our goal is also to share knowledge that the growing and diverse community of Contemporary Insights has developed over the years. In line with these objectives, our academy offers an opportunity for new generations of musicians to develop as artists in the context of contemporary music.
