ensemble hybrid call for scores

From June 15, ensemble hybrid launches its second call for scores. We invite composers and sound artists from around the world to submit their pieces to us before September 15. We will select 3-5 pieces to be performed in concert in Gothenburg in November. We are interested in inventive and diverse expressions of contemporary music and encourage individuals from all possible backgrounds to send in their works.

It is possible to submit a draft of a new piece if it is accompanied by another one of your recent finished works for our reference. It is recommended that the draft is developed at least to some extent for us to be able to assess it. If selected, the piece must be completed and sent to the ensemble before October 1. In addition to sending your piece (or draft + piece), we would like you to send a brief presentation of your artistic and/or educational background.

The submitted pieces should be written for the following instrumentation:

Flute, clarinet, viola, and piano/objects *

(*All performers are experienced in performing with objects. The use of electronics is possible if it is manageable.)
