ABLAZE Records and Global Arts United (GAU) are excited to announce the first call for scores in their new Hellenic Music Series focused on themed Orchestral Music. For the first volume the theme will be APHRODITE the goddess of love, beauty, and desire.
For this series we seek compositions of any duration longer than 4 minutes for a special series of studio recordings followed by a live performance with the spectacular Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra (TSSO) conducted by British conductor Mikel Toms. These works will be professionally recorded, edited, mixed and mastered by the award winning audio engineers at ABLAZE Records. The recording period will be followed by a public live performance of all accepted works by the TSSO in Thessaloniki, Greece.
