MA/IN Festival Call for Works 2026

LOXOS~ keeps interest in electroacoustic culture alive by offering an important opportunity to composers and artists working in the field of digital arts through its annual Call for Works. Each year, MA/IN accepts artistic proposals through a public call for entries, with the aim of selecting works to be included in its artistic program.

The MA/IN Festival 2026 will take place in:

• Castrignano De' Greci + Lecce | 24–27 September

• Matera + Potenza | 29 September–3 October

This year, the festival has two active collaborations with the CRM (Centro di Ricerche Musicali) in Rome and AGON in Milan, which will include selected acousmatic and audiovisual works in their concert programs.

DEADLINE : Apr 26, 2026 (23:59 - Rome time)

FEE: 20€

1) All composers of any age and nationality can participate by submitting works for the following categories:

- Acousmatic Music ~ fixed media music. Multichannel acousmatic compositions are accepted;

- Mixed Media Music ~ compositions for instruments and electronics (live or on digital media);

- AudioVisual ~ works for pre-recorded video and music;

- Live Performance ~ works that include electronics and other elements;

- Sound and Media Art ~ sound and multimedia installation;

2) There is no limit to the length of the pieces.

3) Work may have been previously recorded, performed, published.

4) Registrations can be used for both commercial and non-commercial promotional purposes.

5) Only composers participating in categories Live Performance and Sound and Media Art of the Call for Works are required to be present at the festival and will be compensated.
