Eligibility & Submission Guidelines
1. General Eligibility
- Works completed between January 1, 2022 – December 31, 2025.
- Year of completion must appear in the submission email (not in the score).
- Proof of completion may be requested (file metadata or composer statement).
2. Eligible Work Types
- Solo percussion (free instrumentation)
- Chamber music (2–12 performers) featuring percussion
- Large ensemble/orchestral works where percussion plays a structural role
- Works including unpitched/pitched percussion, auxiliary objects, or body percussion
Not eligible: works where percussion is only incidental.
3. Accepted Formats
- Solo: 1 performer (percussion or percussion + fixed media)
- Chamber: 2–12 performers
- Large Ensemble/Orchestra: 13+ performers
Include instrumentation details in your submission email or technical note.
4. Duration
Free.
5. Electronics / Fixed Media
Allowed: live electronics, fixed media, amplification, interactive setups.
Attach a 1-page technical note describing:
- Equipment, software/hardware
- Channel configuration, playback setup
- Simplified version for limited tech situations
No recording required for evaluation.
6. Prior Performances & Publications
Premieres, performances, or publications are accepted.
Declare existing recordings or publications in the non-anonymous info file.
7. Score Preparation (PDF)
- Anonymous scores only — remove names, logos, and metadata.
- No program notes, dedications, or biographical text.
- Format: A4 or US Letter.
- Include parts (if necessary) after the full score.
