International Online Course for IMPROVISERS, PERFORMERS and COMPOSERS
January 12–14, 2026, daily from 3–6 PM CET / 9 AM–12 PM EST

The New Music Course with Joe Morris is a three-day international online  program for improvisers, performers, and composers. The course is led by composer/improviser multi-instrumentalist Joe Morris. Participants present their work, receive the mentor’s commentary, have the opportunity to ask the mentor questions, and engage in group discussion.

FORMAT: 
- group online sessions
- participants present their practice, presentations are followed by the mentor’s commentary and open discussion 
- emphasis on encouraging critical reflection and dialogue on themes emerging from participants’ presentations and questions
     
FOR: 
- improvisers, performers, and composers, at any stage of their academic or artistic development
- applications are welcome from both emerging and established practitioners, no particular level of experience or specialisation is required
- applicants may also choose to participate as auditors
