Open Call for Composers 2026

Welcome to the 2nd edition of RePercussion Trio's Open Call for Composers!

Applications are open to all composers and must be submitted by 7th June, 2026, 23:59 CET.

Following a selection process, one composer will be invited to collaborate with RePercussion Trio and write a new work for percussion trio. The selected composer will receive a commission fee of €2,000.

Important Dates:

Results announcement: July 7th, 2026

Deadline for the deliver of a new commission: March 1st, 2027

Work with composer: to be decided

Premiere May 2027 at Teatro Helena Sá e Costa, Porto, Portugal

Materials to be sent:

- A biography (maximum 1 page)

- Two recordings of pre-existing chamber music compositions composed within the last 5 years

- A concept letter (maximum 1 page)

- Payment receipt confirmation

Entry fee of €15. Candidates will be asked to submit a payment receipt when filling
out the form to validate their application. Payments will only be accepted via bank
transfer.
