[OPEN CALL] for COMPOSERS, PERFORMERS, CONDUCTORS, and ENSEMBLES

July 2026 - June  2027

A residency program for performers and composers, dedicated to formation, development, and performance of new compositional works. 

FORMAT: 

Stage I.

- 3 Online Workshops: July – September 2026; 

- Presentations by participant composers and performers

- Q&A

Stage II.

- 3 Online Workshops: December 2026 – February 2027

- Sessions focused on score readings, analysis, reflection of the composed works, and preparation for the following one-week workshop at the festival 

- Q&A

Stage III.

- Workshop, rehearsals, and performances at the seventh Bled Contemporary Music Week in Bled, Slovenia, with professional documentation: between June 14 and 26, 2027.

The precept.concept.percept residency centers on a dynamic, collaborative creative process where performers and composers work closely together to prepare for a performance at the seventh Bled Contemporary Music Week (Bled, Slovenia, EU). Composers present, theorize, develop and optimize new works, while performers form an ensemble to engage with new compositions, refine their skills and expand their practice through premiering these works.
