[OPEN CALL] for COMPOSERS, PERFORMERS, CONDUCTORS & ENSEMBLES

A residency program for performers and composers, dedicated to formation, development, and performance of new compositional works. 

FORMAT: 

Stage I.

- 3 Online Workshops: July – September 2026

- Performers and composers present their artistic practices and prepare for the creation and performance of new works

- Q&A

Stage II.

- 3 Online Workshops: December 2026 – February 2027

- Sessions focused on score readings, analysis, reflection of the composed works, and preparation for the following one-week workshop at the festival 

- Q&A

Stage III.

- Workshop, rehearsals and performances at the seventh Bled Contemporary Music Week in Bled Slovenia with professional documentation: between June 14 and 26, 2027

The precept.concept.percept residency focuses on a collaborative creative process where composers and performers work closely together to prepare for a performance at the seventh Bled Contemporary Music Week (Bled, Slovenia, EU). Composers present, optimize, theorize, and develop new works, as well as work closely with the ensemble in residence to prepare for and premiere these compositions. The program presents a great opportunity to develop through activity and exchange, as well as establish new international relationships.
