SoundChain composition competition

SoundChain International Composition Competition 2026 is an international competition for electroacoustic music organized by the Faculty of Music of the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts (JAMU) in Brno, Czech Republic. Composers of any nationality up to 40 years of age are invited to submit original stereo or multichannel electroacoustic works (7–20 minutes). The competition focuses on innovative compositional approaches and creative uses of technology. The first prize is CZK 25,000 (approximately EUR 1,000) plus a Max software license. Selected works will be presented during the award concert in Brno. Submission deadline: 30 September 2026.
