impuls invites listeners to an acoustic and visual tour through various galleries in Graz with the impuls MinuteConcerts. Young international musicians and ensembles, including members of the IEMA Ensemble 2024/25, perform works from the 20th and 21st centuries. The spectrum ranges from classical modern to current composition, electronic music and improvisation. Interacting with fine arts and exhibitions of jewelry and exquisite carpets, contemporary music is experienced firsthand in locations with an atmosphere quite different to the classical concert stage. This sets the scene of a special kind of event where both music experts and curious passers-by are welcome alike, not to mention those who like to remain connoisseurs and discoverers. Children, adolescents and adults … everyone is called upon to stroll around the City of Graz together with young musicians and composers and experience music in a new enriching, stimulating way.
