DRAGONBLOOD is a threshold. A fever dream. When you leave, you won’t be the same.
DRAGONBLOOD is a genre-bending, interdisciplinary festival in a game-inspired fantasy realm, where dragons, fairies, magicians and guest artists from around the world guide you on an immersive emotional quest.
Blending club culture, RPGs, opera, pop concerts, live fortune-telling and ancient tales, DRAGONBLOOD offers sword fights, digital ballads, magic potions, fallen angels—and a motivational Dragon that has been summoned.
The collective ONLY SLIME, founded by composer-performers Tobi Pfeil and Claudia Cox, is currently in residence at Det Norske Teatret, Scene 3. Ultima has given them free rein to programme their own festival-within-a-festival, running from 13 to 20 September.
Joining them are performers as part of a hand-picked line-up: NEKO3 (DK), Team Rolfes (US), Kevin Peter He (CN), DJ Trick (US), Dragongirl (NO), Frida Marida (LBN), and actors from the theatre’s talent programme — all of whom will step into DRAGONBLOOD’s digital fantasy world at different times throughout the week.
NEKO3 is a Copenhagen-based experimental group supported by the ULYSSES Platform. It consists of three members: pianist/performer Fei Nie and two percussionists/performers Lorenzo Colombo and Kalle Hakosalo.
