Concert "Five compositions for choir and electronics" within the Latvian Music Academy's  contemporary Music festival "deciBels"

The Latvian Radio Choir is one of Europe’s leading professional choirs, internationally acclaimed for its precision, clarity, and exceptional versatility. Under the artistic direction of Kaspars Putniņš and Sigvards Kļava, the choir regularly tours worldwide and records award-winning albums (including a Grammy), shaping contemporary choral performance through innovation, depth, and extraordinary musicianship.

The concert "Five compositions for choir and electronics" marks the final stage of the composition workshop that took place in August 2025, at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Music Academy. Five selected composers - Eden Lonsdale, Guilherme de Almeida,  Matteo Gualandi, Francesco Trevisan and Filippo Scaramucci are working on the extension of their sketches for eight voices, involving all singers of the Latvian Radio choir, as well as expanding the electronic parts of their compositions. All composers are attending the rehearsals and the final concert at the Jazeps Vītols Latvian Music Academy's  contemporary Music festival "deciBels".
